And we’re just too scared to try.. When it feels like there is nothing left..

And realize this isn't over yet!

Sometimes,
since the time you wake up in morning,
you want to go back to sleep
coz you don’t have any energy
to face the world
to even speak to another person,
feeling too vulnerable,
feeling too angry and too sad at the same time
that you dunno whether to burst in anger or cry..
But you get up and go through the routine,
trying to cheer yourself up through some songs,
and that too doesn’t work..
Sipping the warm tea,
you stand at the doorstep,
looking at the sun shining so brightly,
but that brightness doesn’t reach you,
so you get inside and shut the curtains,
still feeling vulnerable,
you feel the despair and anger,
you cry your heart out,
yet it doesn’t work this time,
and you keep feeling vulnerable…
The whole day slides by..
You hide under the blanket
and cry,
as the evening arrives,
seems like this vulnerability isn’t goin to end,
and the night ahead seems long and weary..
And just when you feel like it wont end,
you see a ray of hope…
Rays of hope!
As if the sun deliberately hid behind the cloud
so you can see its rays of light
which you were unable to see in the bright daylight..
You see the rays of light
and smile,
as if those were the rays of hope that the Sun was sending to you..
and you tumble upon a perfect song to go along with,
giving you even more hope..
Sometimes,
it feels that way…
that nothing is ever going to be okay,
that you never want to face the world again, ever!
that you don’t want to trust anyone ever again,
never want to open up to anyone,
that you feel like everything’s crumbling down…
And at these times,
all you need to do is…look…
Just catch a breath,
give yourself a break,
and Look around..
Look for the rays,
rays of hope..
They’re just round the corner,
scattered everywhere
in everything that you love..
Just look for them,
and the rays will lift you up,
fill you with hope
and they will tell you
that its not over yet,
its just what you feel, sometimes…
